Margaret Kuehn, age 93, of Twin Valley, MN died Friday, November 30, 2012 in Twin Valley Living Center, Twin Valley.

Margaret Marie Lisburg was born April 26, 1919 the daughter of Albert and Mary (Viaene) Lisburg at home near West Fargo, ND. Growing up she attended country school and lived and worked on the family farm until she was 22 years old. Margaret then moved to Argusville, ND and worked on her brother, Paul's, farm. On November 16, 1945 Margaret was united in marriage to Albert Kuehn at St. Anthony's Church in Fargo, ND. The couple made their home in Bert, ND while working together on the Kuehn Farm. In 1950, Margaret and Albert moved to MN and settled on farm near Twin Valley, which they farmed until 1979. At that time they moved into town where Margaret lived until May of 2012, when she became a resident of the Twin Valley Living Center. Albert died February 3, 1984.

In her younger years, Margaret enjoyed horseback riding and playing the harmonica, accordion and the guitar. Some of her favorite pastimes included going for rides in the country and stopping by her sister, Marion's farm. Margaret loved spending time with her friends and family, but truly treasured the times her grandchildren and great-grandchildren came to visit. They will remember her for her unique sense of humor and the many stories she shared with them.

Margaret is survived by two daughters, Darlene (Donald) Lampton of Twin Valley, MN and Sharon (Leland) Pinske of Gary, MN; daughters-in-law, Rosanne Kuehn of Twin Valley and Carol Kuehn of Ada, MN; 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marion Lisburg of Gary; a brother, Richard (Bernie) Lisburg of Fargo, ND; sisters-in-law, Clarice Lisburg of Fertile, MN and Judy Lisburg of Gary and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, two sons, Merrill and Ronald; two sisters, Mathilda Sande and Rose Clark; four brothers: Henry, Paul, Louis and Merrill; an infant granddaughter, Christina and a great-granddaughter, Lydia.

Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, December 7th, 2012 at 10:30 AM in St. William Catholic Church, Twin Valley. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Officiating was Fr. Joe DeCrans with Monica Winter serving as organist and cantor and Jennifer Baxter will provide special music. Cory Brandt and Peggy Hanson served as readers. Pallbearers were her grandsons: Shawn Olson, Shane Olson, Merrill Kuehn, Jr., Ronnie Kuehn, Jeff Kuehn, Chad Kuehn, Cody Kuehn and Danny Lampton.

Burial was in St. William Catholic Cemetery, Twin Valley.
