Obituary

Margaret Sarah Babler, 99, Ada, MN, died on Saturday, December 19, 2009, in the Bridges Care Center, Ada, MN. She was born on May 13, 1910, in Town of Mary Township, Perley, MN to Michael and Rose (Shaeffer) Hennen. Margaret attended school at the North Star Country School near her home and at Borup, MN.
On July 14, 1932, Margaret married Burnard Babler at Georgetown, MN. She was a homemaker until she was widowed on June 23, 1956. In 1961, Margaret moved to Nevada, where she worked for St. Mary's Hospital in Reno for fourteen years. She retired in 1980 and returned to Ada. Margaret was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ada. She loved the outdoors, growing tomatoes and picking flowers. Margaret enjoyed sightseeing (going for rides), traveling, dining out with her family, and was an avid fan of NASCAR, baseball and liked to watch the soap operas.
Margaret is survived by three daughters: Marjorie Hand-Krause, Reno, NV, Beverly (Duane) Walsberg, Borup, MN, and Shirley Gilcrease, Pahrump, NV; one son, Paul Babler, Ada, MN; one brother, Vergil (Barbara) Hennen, Windemere, FL, nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Mavis on Jan. 20, 1935, one sister, Leatrice Brown, and one brother, Clyde Hennen.

Funeral Mass: Thursday, December 24, 2009, at 10 am in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ada, MN.
Visitation: Wednesday, December 23, 2009, from 5-7 pm with a prayers services at 6:30 PM in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ada, MN.
Burial: Ada Municipal Cemetery, Ada, MN
