Lorraine "Rainy" Londo, age 21 of Naytahwaush, MN, died Friday, January 1, 2009 in Naytahwaush.

Lorraine Lizebeth was born August 28, 1987 in Detroit Lakes, MN, to Corvin Londo & Bernadine "Gidget" Sargent. She grew up in Warroad, MN, and as a teenager moved to Naytahwaush. She attended high school in Mahnomen, MN. Following her schooling, Rainy continued to make her home in Naytahwaush only to return to Warroad for a short time before settling back in Naytahwaush in 2007. She had recently began working at the Post Office in Naytahwaush. Rainy was very excited about this position and looked forward to the position of a future post master.

Rainy loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her daughter, Ericka. She took care of many of her nieces and nephews and often referred to them as her "boys" and her "girls". She had a special bond with her niece, Doreen, whom she cared for last summer. Rainy was very loved and cared for by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Lorraine leaves behind a young daughter at home, Ericka Londo; her father, Corvin (Arlene) Londo, Naytahwaush, MN; her mother, Bernadine "Gidget" Sargent, Red Lake, MN; a brother, Dillon (Amber Carpenter) Londo, Sr., Naytahwaush; sisters, Harriet (Mike Bruguier, Sr.) Londo, Pine Point, MN, and Brooke Londo, Ogema, MN, and step-sister, Wanez (Brian Stillday) Desjarlait, Fon Du Lac, MN; maternal grandfather, Jerry (Gloria) Sargent, Bemidji, MN; four nieces: Drewrez Budreau, Jasmin Budreau, Aleeziah Stillday, and Doreen Londo; seven nephews: Josyaah Budreau, Saige Londo, Terry Kemper, Matyas Londo, Julian Londo, Dillon Londo, Jr., Michael Bruguier, Jr. Rainy is also survived by her special friend, Adam Roy and by Ericka's father, Louis "Mikey" Keezer. Rainy was fortunate to have a large family. Not only her biological families but also extended family including the Zeb and Mary Shaugabay family; Charlene and Willie Heisler family ; the Libby families in White Earth. To Roxanne Brun, Mel "Punkin" Roy and Shannon Szymanski, Rainy was their Warroad baby. Rainy's stepdad, Cameron Hardy was always dad to her. Cameron's mom, Jan Thomas was Grandma. Cameron's dad, Clifford Hardy and wife Myrna were Grandpa and Grandma. She was also loved by unlce Tom Hardy, Auntie Celeste "Cookie" Goodteacher and many other relatives. When Rainy moved to Naytahwaush, she was a member of the Littlewolf where she "adopted" Tom and Belva "Annie" as well as three sisters: Cassie, Crystal, Carla, and a brother, Chuck. Rainy was also loved by Ron Skinaway family. Rainy had many sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends - All too many to list. You all know who you are and how Rainy touched your hearts. She is preceded in death by a brother, Adam Burnette; a step-sister, Karen Defoe; her paternal grandparents, Malcom and Harriet Londo; her maternal grandmother, Lorraine Lightning; an aunt, Bonnie Wadena and an uncle, Thomas Sargent.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 1 pm at the Sports Complex in Naytahwaush, MN. Visitation will begin Wednesday, January 7th at 5 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm and visitation will go until the time of the funeral on Thursday at the sports complex.

Burial will be in the St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery in Naytahwaush, MN.
