Lorraine Anderson, age 88, of Ulen, MN, died Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the Essentia Health, Fargo, ND.

Lorraine Margaret Moore was born in Flom, MN, on December 18, 1932, the daughter of Leslie and Myrtle (Rasmussen) Moore.  As a child, she grew up and attended country school south of Walworth Baptist Church. After high school, Lorraine moved to the Twin Cities Metro area where she became employed at 3M. She then moved to Fargo, ND, for a short time before returning to the cities.  Lorraine met the love of her life, Harvey Anderson, at a dance in Prom Center. They were united in marriage on September 1, 1957, at Walworth Baptist Church. The couple made their home in St. Paul, MN, and started their family. After five years, the family moved to White Bear Lake, MN, where Lorraine was a daycare provider for over 25 years. Harvey passed away April 20, 1995. Lorraine continued to live in their home in White Bear Lake in the winters and made her home at the farm near Ulen during the summers. The past seven years she has lived on the farm.

Lorraine loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When she was not with them, she treasured her telephone conversations with each of them. Spending time with the entire family at family reunions was her greatest joy, notably when they would last for two days at a time! Lorraine and Harvey loved traveling, particularly to Florida and listening to Alan Jackson sing. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, and being outside.  She also enjoyed painting, drawing, her dolls and in recent years the companionship of her dog, Puppy. Next to family for Lorraine was her faith. From a very young age, Lorraine accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior. She was a very devoted Christian and proudly professed his love and our hope for salvation. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lorraine is survived by her children: David (Ann) Anderson of Ashby, MN, Paulie (Cindy) Anderson of Bloomington, MN, Kristy (Keith) Borgeson of Longville, MN, LaurieAnn Christopherson (partner, Ted) of Remer, MN, and Shari Anderson of Maplewood, MN; brother, Skip (Shirley) Moore of Flom, MN; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey; brother, Stan Moore; and her in-laws: Cora and Alvin Anderson and Shari's partner, Tom Foreman.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 19, 2021, at Walworth Baptist Church, rural Ulen, MN.  Visitation will take place one hour prior to the funeral at the church.  Interment will take place on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the Erdahl Lutheran Cemetery, rural Ashby, MN.

Following all Covid-19 safety protocols, social distancing will be practiced, and all must wear a mask to participate.
