Lorayn I. Visser, 73, Ada, MN, died Friday, July 20, 2018, at Manor Care Health Services, Fargo, ND.

Lorayn Ida (Broadwell) Visser was born April 24, 1945, to Ilem and Alma (Loranger) Broadwell, at Ponsford, MN. She graduated from Fosston (MN) High School in 1963 and earned a degree as a Dental Assistant from the Brainerd Vocational Technical College. On July 1 ^st , 1967, she married Earl Visser. After being married, Lorayn became the Office Manager for the family business.

Lorayn enjoyed being a mother and was very proud of all of her children. She was very pleased and excited to welcome every spouse, grandchild, and great grandchild into the family. Lorayn loved the energy that the grandchildren brought.  Lorayn was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed working on committees, with the children in Catechism and attending mass faithfully. The activities Lorayn enjoyed most were spending time with her family, baking, sewing, quilting, gardening and canning the produce from her garden.

Survivors include her husband Earl, of Ada, six children Brenda (Gordon) Sowl, Moorhead, MN, Bruce (Becky) Visser, Ada, MN, Barb (Matt) Heiden, Fargo, ND, Gary (Dana) Visser, Brad (Dena Bishop) Visser, and Glen (Carolyn) Visser, all of Ada, MN, grandchildren, Josh, Brittney, Adam, Erica, Audrey, Sam, Amanda, James, Grace, Brody, Alexander, great grandchildren, Calleigh and Vivianne, as well as many nieces and nephews.  Other survivors include her siblings, George (Audrey) Broadwell, Doria (Irv) Bakken, Irene Lindfors, Virginia Anderson, Viola Olson, and June (William) Anderson, sisters-in-law,  Linda Broadwell and Carol Broadwell. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, granddaughter, brothers, Donald and Victor Broadwell, and brothers-in-law, Vernon Lindfors, Eddie Olson, and Jerry Anderson.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00AM, Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ada, MN.

Visitation: Tuesday, July 24, 2018, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM with a 6:30PM prayer service at the church.

Interment: Ada Municipal Cemetery, Ada, MN.
