Obituary

Mrs. Lois F. Pritsch (Bunker), 70, of Bloomingdale, GA, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at her home.

Lois, the daughter of Richard A. & Jean Bunker, was born on the White Earth Reservation in Northern MN. She grew up in the Naytahwaush, MN community where she attended school. At a young age, Lois learned the art of sewing. She was a third-generation seamstress in her family and learned many techniques from her grandmother, mother, and aunts. As a young woman, she was blessed with three sons: Wayne, Scott, and Anthony. As a master seamstress, Lois moved to various places around the United States to provide for her family. While living in Mountain View, CA, Lois met the love of her life, Kenneth Pritsch. The couple was united in marriage on November 29, 1991 and shortly thereafter moved to Colorado. For the past five years, they have made their home in Bloomingdale, GA.

Although her health had been failing for the past few years, Lois always keep a positive attitude. She enjoyed gambling, good food and traveling. She especially cherished her grandchildren, and living both near and far, they always held a special place in her heart.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Pritsch; children, Wayne "Joe" Bunker, Scott Alen Fanning (Melissa Keezer), and Anthony Doxsee; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Karen Oxendine and Ruby Buehner; brother, Wayne S. Bunker; several nieces and nephews; extended family, Stephanie Lopez and Paulette Nelson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Richard Ivan Bunker; sister, Linda Bunker; and Marcie Bunker Fairbanks, her best friend, cousin, and partner in crime, as well as several other cousins.

Local Funeral Services will be held at 2PM on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Samuel Memorial Episcopal Church in Naytahwash, MN. Visitation will be held two hours prior at the church.

A funeral service was held on Friday, December 29th at the Strickland Funeral Home in Georgia.
