Linda Bevins, age 55, of White Earth, MN, died Friday, January 13, 2017, at home.
Linda Ann Bevins, the daughter of Benjamin and Phyllis (LaGarde) Bevins, was born June 10, 1961, in White Earth, MN. Much of her youth into early adulthood was spent between White Earth and Minneapolis, MN. In 1985, Linda received her greatest blessing with the birth of her daughter, Roseanne. They moved back to White Earth in the early 1990's, where they made their home. In 1989, Linda met and fell in love with her lifelong companion, Charles "Joe" Foster.
Linda worked for White Earth Housing for several years before opening her home to foster care. Following her daughter's death, Linda and Joe have lovingly raised their granddaughter, Analicia, as their own. Linda's home, as well as her heart, was always open to anyone in need. She loved spending time with family and friends and providing large meals for them. She also enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, and listening to country music.
Linda is survived by her companion, Joe Foster; daughter, Analicia; brothers: Richard Bevins and James Bevins, Gary (Cindy) Foster, and Mark Foster; sisters: Lisa Lussier, Lori (Donald) Dakota, Leah Bevins, Angie Headbird, Colleen Martin, Elaine (David) Keezer, and Ruth (Bill) Newton; and special nieces, Amber Bevins and Brittney Staples; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Phyllis; Joe's parents, Maeferd and Charles Foster; her daughter, Roseanne; one unborn granddaughter; a sister, Mary Sue; a brother, Mike; a great-great niece, Zariah; cousins: Rebecca "Jumbo", John "Bim", and Pete; and many aunts and uncles.
