Lillie M. Hasz, 102, the daughter of William and Bertha (Voltz) Pagel, a life-long resident of Ada, MN, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at Bridges Care Community, Ada. Lillie was born November 19, 1908, near Ada. She was baptized, confirmed and married at St. John's Lutheran Church of Green Meadow Township where she was a life-long member and was active in the Ladies Aid. She recently celebrated her 102nd birthday. Lillie grew up on a farm near Ada; one of 13 children. She married Theodore Hasz on October 16, 1927. They farmed in the Ada area until 1964 when they retired and moved into Ada. Lillie was an excellent flower and vegetable gardener and cook. She was a member of the Meadowlarks Homemakers Club and in 1974 was named Homemaker of the Year. She enjoyed sewing numerous quilts for her family and Lutheran World Relief.

Lillie is survived by her five children, Irene Dahlen, Breckenridge, MN; Verona Heiraas, Ada; Wayne (Dorothy) Hasz, Lester Prairie, MN; Merle (Jackie) Hasz, Foreston, MN; and Herb (Gail) Hasz, Grand Forks, ND. Lillie is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, 27 great-great grandchildren, and a sister-in-law, Nina Pagel of Twin Valley, MN, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her life-long husband, Ted, four sisters, eight brothers, one son-in-law and two great grandsons.

Funeral Service: 11:00AM, Thursday, December 2, 2010, at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Ada, MN.

Visitation: 5-7PM Wednesday with a 7:00PM prayer service at Fredrikson Funeral Home, Ada, MN.

Burial: St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, rural Ada, MN.
