Leslie Jerome Gigler was born on August 20, 1932, to Frank and Martha Gigler in Ada, Minnesota, the fifth of six children. He taught himself to be a jack of all trades – truck driver, carpenter, electrician, auto body work and wheel alignment. He was always ready to step in and help anyone who needed it and never saw a tool he didn't want or already had two of!

He met his wife Lois when they played in a band together. Leslie loved camping with his wife, and with any family or friends that could make it. Leslie and Lois have spent the last months in Viking Manor Nursing Home in Ulen, MN, where he passed away quietly on September 13, 2025.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lois; his children, Joyce (Geoff) Wang, Ronald (Cindy) Gigler, David (Kelly) Gigler, Cyndi Gigler, Kristie (Chuck) Dalby, and Tony (Carol) Gigler; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his brother, Dennis (Jan) Gigler.

He will be greatly missed by all.

To honor his wishes, no services will be held for Les.
