LeRoy Erickson, 74, of Twin Valley, Minnesota, died Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at the Twin Valley Living Center.

LeRoy Charles was born at home in Hegne Township, Minnesota, on September 6, 1935, to Nels and Norah (Hovland) Erickson. He received his education in the Twin Valley schools. LeRoy started working for the railroad at the age of 16 and retired from the railroad after 39 years of service. On April 9, 1954, LeRoy was united in marriage to Joanne Fisher in Ada, MN.

LeRoy made his home in Twin Valley and recently entered the Twin Valley Living Center.

LeRoy is survived by his children: Roger, Ada, MN, Fay (Dan) Vedbraaten, Thief River Falls, MN, Kay (John) Saude, Ada, MN, and Rodney (Tammy), Ada, MN, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, one brother: Lyle (Norma) Erickson, Moorhead, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Joanne, a sister, Edith Knutson, and one brother Norris.

Graveside Service: 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 24 at Fredrikson Funeral Home, Ada, MN

Visitation will be one hour before the services at the Fredrikson Funeral Home, Ada, MN
