LaVerne Klein, 71, of Mesa, AZ, died December 4, 2007 at her home in Mesa. She fought a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. She was born in 1936 in Mahnomen, Minnesota. Formerly of Eagan, Minnesota, she has enjoyed her last ten years in Arizona. She especially enjoyed her ceramics, lapidary, bingo, and the casinos. She was a Lifetime Member of the VFW. LaVerene was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah (Lourayne) Bouffleur and her farther, Kenneth Peterson. She is survived by her children, Gary (Sherrie) Larson, Jeffrey (Louise) Larson, Randall (Debra) Larson, Mona Frank, Susan (Michael) Ireland, Linda (Paul) Abbott, ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Miles (Cindy) Miller, and her sister, Kathlene Bouffleur.
