John "Larry" Roy, age 72, of Twin Valley, MN, died Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Larry Roy was born on February 4, 1948 to the loving parents of Bernard and Pearl (Erickson) Roy. Larry grew up in Mahnomen, MN, and attended school at Mahnomen High School. Shortly after high school, Larry and Marianne (Voit) were united in marriage in Waubun, MN. They were blessed with four children: Ronnie, Brian, Danny and Brent. He worked for the Twin Valley School, Circle of Life School and The Shooting Star Casino as a custodian until his retirement.

Larry enjoyed gardening, card games, camping and woodworking. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Larry is survived by his four children: Ronnie (Jessica Carter) Roy of Twin Valley, MN, Brian (Michelle) Roy of Nashville, TN, Danny (Tina) Roy of Fairmount City, PA, and Brent (Jodi) Roy of Perham, MN; sixteen grandchildren: Jessica, Rick, Jennifer, Nathan, Carrington, Jordan, Hunter, Colton, Danielle, Caleb, Helen, Chase, Paris, Bailee, Madison and Landon; and four great grandchildren: Ruth, Colette, Everly, Kolby and Gideon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Pearl (Erickson) Roy and his brother, Mike Fabel.
