Larry Beaulieu, age 65, of Mahnomen, MN, died Sunday, October 22, 2017, at his home.

Larry, the son of Maxine Beaulieu, was born November 22, 1951, in Mahnomen, MN. His first few years of life were spent at home near Beaulieu. However, he faced many physical and health issues which required additional care and moving away from home. Larry lived many years in Fergus Falls, MN, but has made his home at Lakes Homes in Mahnomen for the past several years.

Larry's love of people was evident daily, as he loved to both give and receive hugs to anyone who was special to him. He could light up the room with his huge smile and hardy belly laugh. Larry also loved children and animals, especially dogs and cats. Some of his favorite past times included kicking back in his recliner to watch Nascar races, the Price is Right or any cooking show, but his favorite was Rachel Ray. Larry also enjoyed watching the birds, listening to music, window shopping and meeting his brother and uncle at the casino. He attended Mass at St. Michael's and was always ready for a van ride to go on outings anywhere new and different. Larry loved the holidays, Christmas and Halloween were his favorite. He adored the holiday lights, parties and Santa Clause. His love of Santa ranked right up there with his love of chocolate, chocolate of any kind! Larry had a big heart and was a gentle man of quiet faith.

Larry is survived by a brother, David of Mahnomen; extended family and several friends and care givers at Lakes Homes, Mahnomen. He was preceded in death by his mom, grandparents; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday, October 26, 2017, at 9:30 am at Valley View Commons in Mahnomen.

Inurnment will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Beaulieu, MN.
