Kevin Harman, age 52, of Twin Valley, MN passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, near Clearwater, MN.

Born on February 18, 1972, in Anoka, MN, to Larry and Joyce (Rustman) Harman, Kevin grew up with a heart as big as his smile. He graduated from St. Francis High School in 1991. Known for his strong work ethic, Kevin embraced a variety of jobs after graduation, from changing oil to laying asphalt, always willing to put in the hard work. Kevin eventually found his calling as a truck driver, where he forged lasting friendships and earned the respect of all who worked alongside him. His proudest career milestone came in September 2024, when he received an award for having driven over 2 million miles—an achievement he was very proud of. Kevin was tragically joined in heaven on November 7, 2024, by his brother, Leroy.

Kevin was an outdoorsman through and through. He greatly enjoyed hunting deer, fishing with friends, taking rides on the pontoon, and cruising in his ranger. His home reflected his love for eagles, with statues and pictures alongside his hunting trophies. Above all, Kevin adored his family. Family and friends were the heart of Kevin's world. Moving to Twin Valley in the mid-2010s, he put down roots to be closer to his parents and cultivated friendships that became like second family. He took pride in his home and yard, nurturing his mother's beloved rose bushes—though occasionally they came second to his fishing plans. Kevin had a special way with kids, especially his friends' children, who he treated like his own nieces and nephews, delighting them with gifts, adventures, and a love for nature.

Kevin's warmth, laughter, and kindness will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Kevin is survived by his loving mother, Joyce Harman; brother, Tim Harman; sister-in-law, Deb Harman; nieces and nephews: Kayla, Jamie, Naomi, Tadd, and Keith; uncles, Arvin Rustman and Bobby Popkis; and very special friends, Tim and Kristin Gilbertson and their children: Lilly, Abby, Noah, Candace, and Jonah.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Larry; brother, Leroy; and special nephew, Robert.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., with a visitation starting one hour before, at Good News Fellowship Church in Gary, MN. Burial will be held at a later date.
