Kevin Bjerke, age 53, of Ulen, MN, died Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND.

Kevin Lee Bjerke was born on March 28, 1970, in Moorhead, MN, to Raymond and Linda (Tubbs) Bjerke. He grew up in Ulen and graduated from Ulen High School with the class of 1988. Continuing his education, he pursued architect drafting at Detroit Lakes Technical College. Throughout his career, Kevin worked with dedication for various companies, including Opatril Concrete, Valley Concrete Services, and Contemporary Concrete. He also kept busy helping on the farm. Over the years, Kevin's health played a significant role in his life, after being diagnosed with Lupis and kidney failure at 13. Despite many surgeries and troubled times, Kevin maintained a resilient spirit and he continued to strive for life.

An avid enthusiast of manual work, Kevin found solace in his workshop, often tinkering with his cherished collection of vintage tractors, or taking them out in the fields. His passion for Case IH tractors led him to scour online listings for parts or equipment, adding to his beloved collection. In the summertime, he enjoyed meticulously mowing the lawn, while during periods of poor health, he found solace in rest and indulging in his favorite video games. Kevin's warm and friendly nature made him well-liked by everyone who crossed his path. He cherished conversations with friends and members of the community, leaving a lasting impression with his kindness and genuine spirit.

Kevin is survived by his father, Raymond Bjerke; brothers, Jared and Chad Bjerke; aunts: Donna Tubbs, Avis Pollock, and Donna Rognlie; uncles, Niles (Shirley) Bjerke and Robert (Susie) Bjerke; and many cousins and extended family. Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents; mother, Linda Bjerke; infant brother, Owen; uncles: Jim Pollock, Neil Rognlie, Steve Tubbs, and Allen Tubbs; and aunt, Sherrie Bjerke.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 16, 2024 at 2:00pm, visitation will be one hour prior, at the Anderson Family Funeral Home in Twin Valley, MN.
