Obituary

Kent Elliot Lindblom passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 9, 2010, at the age of 61.

Kent was born in Thief River Falls, MN on May 18, 1948 to George and Grace (Mosbeck) Lindblom. The family moved to Mahnomen, MN when he was 14 and he graduated from Mahnomen High School in 1966. Kent and Ann were high school sweethearts and married September 30, 1967. They moved to Milwaukee, WI in February of 1968, where they raised their children. Kent was skilled in auto body repair and painting, and was the founder and proud owner of Auto Body Care in New Berlin, WI for nearly 20 years. Kent and Ann sold the business in 2000 and retired back to Mahnomen to be with Ann's parents. Kent's primary loves were spending time with his family, cars, motorcycles and eating out, especially lobster. He will be remembered most for his loving nature, sense of humor and ability to fix anything.

Kent leaves behind his wife, Ann, his children: Chris (Ellie), Todd (Kristin), and Jenni (David) Cialdini; grandchildren: Ryan, Evan and Kate Lindblom, Josie and Marissa Cialdini. He is also survived by brother, Doug (Diane) and sisters, Myrna Lane and Jodi (Mike) Englestad; mother-in-law, Patricia Bisek; brothers and sisters in law, Paul (Johanna) Bisek, Kathy (Bob) Holl, Jim (Ginny) Bisek, Gene (Sharon) Bisek, Deb (Tim) Gerber, Marion (Roger) Anderson, John (Mickie) Bisek, Pam Bisek, Ray Bisek, Andy (Anita) Bisek, Theresa Bisek and Jeff (Nancy) Bisek, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Kent was preceded in death by his parents, George and Grace Lindblom; brother, Kim Lindblom;, father-in-law Paul Bisek; brothers-in-law, Joe Bisek, Patrick Bisek and Russ Lane, and sister-in-law Betsy Bisek.

In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Red River Hospice in Detroit Lakes, MN or the Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, WI.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Mahnomen. Visitation will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church tonight from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, with a Prayer Service and rosary at 6:30 pm. Burial will be in the St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Mahnomen.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Kent's life at 6:30 pm on Friday, March 12, 2010 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1212 S. 117th St., West Allis, WI, with a time for fellowship following the service.
