Kayla
Bunker
Feb 4, 1989 — Aug 21, 2022
Naytahwaush
Kayla Bunker, age 33, of Naytahwaush, MN, died Sunday, August 21, 2022, at the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis, MN, surrounded by her family.
Kayla Louise Bunker was born February 4, 1989, in Bagley, MN, the daughter of Millie Beaulieau and Kelly Bunker. She grew up in Naytahwaush where she attended grade school followed by Mahnomen High School. Kayla spent several years with Jesse Londo and together they were blessed with five children. Kayla worked for a time at the Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen as a cocktail server and a cashier in the buffet, but her main job was being a mom. She truly loved being a mother and her kids meant the world to her.
In addition to spending time with family, Kayla enjoyed the great outdoors. She was an avid hunter and liked leeching and berry picking. In her spare time, Kayla also liked listening to all genres of music, playing cards, and going for random rides in the car. She had a great sense of humor with a wonderful smile that could light up the room. Even though she has some tough obstacles over the years, Kayla was always optimistic, never complaining and remained courageous, fearless and a true fighter until the very end. Although she is gone from this life too soon, she will live on in the hearts of all her friends and family.
Kayla is survived by her sons: Curtis, Clayton and Riley Londo; her mother, Millie Beaulieau; grandma, Phyllis Bunker; two brothers, Glenn Bunker and Kelly Jr. (Natasha); four sisters: Ashley (Chris Otto) Bunker, Cheyenne Bunker, Rachel Bunker and Jolie (Brent) Bunker; special friend, Jeremy Neeland; nieces and nephews: Tressa, Kadynce, Chester Jr., Leo, Atticus, Heaven, Brent, Jasmine, Kota, Miley, Zee, Amaiya, and Addison (Case); and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Priscilla; son, Clawed; dad, Kelly; grandpa, Glenn Bunker; and grandparents, Rosella and Clarence Beaulieau.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the Naytahwaush Sports Complex. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 25, 2022 beginning at 5:00 pm, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm, and continue all night until the Funeral on Friday.
