Kathleen Lynn Paul, 64, of rural Beltrami, MN, died on Saturday, April 22, 2017, after a five year battle with a rare immune disease at the Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.  She was born on June 20, 1952, at Bagley, MN, to Henry and Josephine (Forman) Lindom.  Kathy grew up in Leonard, MN, and attended school at Clearbrook, MN.  Kathy was blessed with her first and only son, Shannon George.  She lived in Leonard, while working in Clearbrook for Arctic Enterprises.  Kathy moved to the Twin Cities, where she managed a clothing store and several apartment buildings.

In 2005, Kathy moved to Beltrami to marry the love of her life, Warren Paul.  On June 25, 2005, they were united in marriage at Trinity Lutheran Church, Beltrami.  Because of Kathy's great love and passion for animals, she opened a dog kennel on their farm and operated it for nine years.  Kathy worked hard to get the kennel established, and even harder to ensure the utmost quality of care for the four legged patrons.

Kathy was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid.  She loved to visit and help whenever she had the opportunity.  Kathy was also an active member of the Beltrami Garden Club.

Kathy's outgoing spirit allowed her to inspire and lead others.  Willingly and passionately Kathy participated in many activities.  Gardening, baking, decorating and spending time with family and friends made her happy.  In her humble and kind manner, Kathy set an example for others to follow.

Kathy's memory will be treasured by her husband, Warren, Beltrami; son, Shannon George (Sara), Bagley, MN and their daughter, Heather (Andrew) Leonard, MN, son, Tyler (Jenna), and their son, Briar, Bagley, MN, and daughter, Hayley, Bagley, MN; two step daughters: Miranda (Danny) Pinske, and their son, Maverick, Gary, MN, and Amy (Chris) Bartz, and their son, Carter, McIntosh, MN; one step son: Nick (Jamie) Paul, and their son, Braxton, Gary, MN; three sisters: Karen Remick, Bellingham, WA; Tracy Lindom, Beltrami, MN; and Jodi (Joe) Milli, Austin, MN; one brother, Steve (Brenda) Lindom, Hibbing, MN; several cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, step-mother: Darlene Lindom and sister, Norma Jean Lindom.

Funeral Service: 2 PM Friday, April 28,2017, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Beltrami, MN.

Visitation: 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 6:30 PM Thursday, April 27, 2017, at Erikson-Vik-Ganje Funeral Home, Fertile, MN.

Burial: Will be at a later date in Pleasant View Cemetery, rural Lockhart, MN.
