Juliette Fay Dietz died April 21, 2015 in Mahnomen, Minnesota surrounded by her husband, children, nieces and beloved sisters.
Juliette Fay Martin was born July 30, 1944 to Theresa "Dolly" Elizabeth (Matheson) and Fred Martin in Breckenridge, Minnesota. She attended school in Breckenridge, MN and was the youngest in a family of eight children. Throughout her young adulthood, Juliette found happiness in work as a nanny for several families.
On September 4, 1965 she married Richard Dietz and they made their home in Graceville, MN. They later moved to Mahnomen, MN where she lived until her death. Juliette enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren. She proudly displayed her grandchildren's pictures in her home and spoke so dearly of each of them. Juliette had an admiration for music and movies. She loved the old classic films and the latest new releases. Juliette was a pet owner throughout her life as she had a great affection & appreciation for animals and wildlife. One of her greatest pleasures was looking forward to her sisters' visits, where together around the kitchen table there was much laughter, affection, and storytelling of years past. Juliette will be remembered for her gentle heart, beautiful soul, and sensitivity to others.
Juliette is survived by: Her husband: Richard Dietz, Waubun, MN; Her children: Susan (Michael) Amick, Brainerd, MN; Stanley Dietz, Grand Forks, ND; Rebecca Dietz, Ogema, MN; April (Blaine Tufte) Dietz, Fargo, ND; Her nine beautiful grandchildren: Christopher, Justin, Elliot, Maengun (M.J.), Gabriella, Fawn, Ruby, Isabelle and Beau; Her sisters, Shirley (Charles Cherry) Hunkins, Breckenridge, MN; Doris Burhans, Breckenridge, MN; Monica Lahren, Nimrod, MN; Janet Frishman, Jamestown, ND and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 9 beginning at 2:00pm at the Doran Presbyterian Church in Doran, MN.
