Joseph "Joe" Franklin Vasquez, 67, Moorhead, MN, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at his residence in Moorhead.

Born in Chicago, Joe was a class of 1975 graduate of Foreman High School.

Joe was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired after working in manufacturing at GPK Products, Inc. in Fargo, ND.

Joe made friends easily, had a good heart, and was a beloved friend. He loved metal music and rock and roll, frequently going to concerts. His enjoyment of music was seen in his contagious smile and enthusiastic cheers for the musicians.

Joe is preceded in death by his immediate family members, including his father, Guillermo Vasquez (March 22, 1906 – July 29, 1984) and longtime partner Joan Ueland.

At his request, Joe will be laid to rest next to Joan at Petri Lutheran Cemetery, Rural Ada, MN. A private graveside service will be held.
