Watch Joseph's Funeral

Joseph Teller Jr., age 27, of Mahnomen, MN, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at his home.

Joseph Allen was born March 28, 1994, in Green Bay, WI, to Laura Korte and Joseph Allen Teller Sr.  He grew up in Green Bay where he attended school.  Following graduation from Preble High School in 2012, Joe entered the workforce.  He lived in the Green Bay area and worked various construction jobs.  Last year, Joe moved to Mahnomen to make his home and was currently working for Ahmann Construction.

While hanging out at home, Joe liked to play video games and listen to rap music. He also enjoyed camping, fishing and trips to the casino to play the slots.  He was more than an avid Green Bay Packers fan, never missing the opportunity to cheer on his favorite team!  Joe loved spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews and frequent visits to his grandma Joyce's house.  He loved and adored his sister's kids, Ariana, Zayden and Zion, as if they were his own since he never had any children.  Joe was a loving young man with a big heart and great sense of humor.  Although he leaves this world too soon, his memory will live on with all those who knew and loved him.

He leaves behind his mother, Lori (Daniel Yost) Korte of Mahnomen; his father, Joseph Teller Sr. of Green Bay; grandmas, Joyce Korte of Mahnomen and Jeanette Teller of Green Bay; two brothers, Cameron Teller of Green Bay and Mathew Boswell of White Earth, MN; four sisters: Ahsaun Adams of Green Bay, Amber (Gerardo) Teller also of Green Bay, Angela Boswell of Minneapolis, MN, and Nicole Boswell of White Earth; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by grandpa, Hugh Teller and two brothers, Jeremy Teller and Brandon Boswell.

Local Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Anderson Funeral Home in Mahnomen. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
