Jody
Londo
Mar 5, 1971 — Feb 27, 2026
Nayathawaush
Jody M. Londo, age 54, of Naytahwaush, MN, died unexpectedly following some recent health complications on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Mahnomen Health Center, Mahnomen, MN.
Jody Marie Londo was born on March 5, 1971, in Detroit Lakes, MN, the daughter of Loris Londo and Harold Parisian. Her father died before she was born so Jody was lovingly raised by parents, Loris and Floyd LaFriniere. Her youth was spent growing up in the Naytahwaush area and she attended Mahnomen High School. As a young mother, Jody worked hard to provide and be a good mom to her five children. She loved each of her children which brought her the greatest gift from God…grandchildren! Jody loved spending time with all her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Early on, Jody worked at the Shooting Star Casino followed by the Grand Portage Casino. She and the kids spent a couple quality years living in Grand Portage, MN, before moving back to the White Earth Reservation following the birth of her youngest, Hannah. They have lived in the Naytahwaush area since returning and the past 10+ years with significant other, Ed Gonzales.
Over the years, Jody truly embraced the outdoors and the activities it provided. She loved ricing, leeching, picking berries, mushrooms, rocks and balsam boughs. She was a hard worker with a kind heart, always willing to help others. As a diligent mom, she instilled these qualities in her own children to be better parents themselves. Jody also enjoyed listening to music and getting dressed up for any occasion. Although she leaves this world too soon, she will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. diligent
Jody is survived by her children: Tiffany (Dylan) Anderson of Fargo, ND, Dereck Londo of Naytahwaush, Trevor (Jennifer Shaide) Ashing of Naytahwaush, Destane (Bishop Burnette) Ashing of Naytahwaush and Hannah (Shane LaGue Jr.) also of Naytahwaush; six grandchildren: Audrey, Raquel, Wolfgang, Jacquelyn, Jaysun and Dereck Jr.; significant other, Edward Gonzales; two sisters, Bambi Roy of Rice Lake, MN, and Elizabeth LaFriniere of Roy Lake, MN; nieces, nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded by her parents, Loris and Floyd; biological dad, Harold; and grandparents.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the Naytahwaush Sports Complex, Naytahwaush, MN.
