Jerome Anker peacefully left this Earth and returned home to his Father in Heaven on June 8th, 2017 at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND at the blessed age of 85. Jerome Clayton Anker was born August 26, 1931, in his home in Flom, MN, to Andrew and Hilda (Dorseth) Anker. He was the eldest of four children. He grew up in Flom/Twin Valley area where he graduated high school. He proudly joined the Air Force following high school, and served our country in the Korean War. Upon returning to Flom from the war, Jerome married Vivian Johnson. The couple was blessed with three children: Jerry, Deb, and Sandy; and raised their family in Twin Valley, MN. Jerome was a carpentry enthusiast working seven days a week on his projects. He loved nothing more than working, except his family. In his spare time, Jerome also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, and taking Vivian to dances. In 1987 Jerome and Vivian moved to Glyndon, MN; and later to Moorhead, MN. He will always be remembered and live on in the hearts of his family and friends. All of the wonderful memories of Jerome will forever be cherished. Jerome is survived by his wife of almost 63 years, Vivian, of Moorhead; one son, Jerry Anker, Moorhead; two daughters, Deb (Mark) Bucholz, West Fargo, ND, and Sandy Pulczinski (Fiancé: Greg Erickson), West Fargo, ND; 4 grandchildren: Brittney Bucholz, Brandon (Laura) Bucholz, Chase Pulczinski, and Brie Pulczinski; two great-grandchildren: Evie Bucholz, and Lydia Bucholz; and sister, LaVonne (Dan) Zinda, Alexandria, MN. He is preceded in death by his parents;baby brother Anker; and sister, Joan Klomstad.
