Jean L. Parrow, 79, Ada, Minnesota, died Sunday, January 31, 2016, at Benedictine Care Community, of Ada.

Jean was born in Fargo, ND, on February 29, 1936, the daughter of Sam and Jesse (Jordan) Leach. She graduated high school in Britton, SD, in 1953 then went on to the Valley City Teachers college where she decided to teach grade school. On July 31st, 1954 she married Dean John Parrow they had 5 children, Mike, Sam, Bill, Virginia, and Jim Parrow.

In 1975 she was employed by the United States Postal Service. She excelled and loved her career. She became the Post Master in Forman, ND and she retired on February 25th, 2000 as the Post Master in Ada, MN. On February 1st, 1997 she married Curtis Frietag and they resided in Ada until her death.

She is survived by her three sons, Mike, Sam, and Bill Parrow and seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Thomas, Paige, Victoria, Yancy, Mikael, Britton Parrow, and her husband Curtis Frietag.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Jim and daughter Virginia Parrow.

Memorial Service: 2:00PM Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Grace Lutheran Church, Ada, MN.
