Janice Nogowski, 55, of Twin Valley, MN, died Wednesday September 16, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Janice Marie Nogowski was born August 5, 1960, the daughter of Lawrence "Danny" and Mary "Ruby" (Ringsaker) Nogowski in Hankinson, ND. Janice grew up in the Geneseo, ND, community and attended school in Lidgerwood. In 1985, she relocated to Twin Valley, where she made her home. Janice proudly served the local county Sheriff's offices as dispatcher for 20 years.
Janice's passion was cooking and baking – whether it was for large groups of people like her brother Mike's hunting crew or just her daughter Nicole, she always made too much. She also kept her co-workers well stocked in baked goods. Janice loved the visits from her daughter and friends on the weekends where they could tell stories and cook!
Janice is survived by her daughter, Nicole Nogowski (Jeremy Bensen) of Fargo ND; husband, George Thorsen of Twin Valley; brothers, James Nogowski of Geneseo; Michael (Sherrie) Nogowski of Twin Valley and Virgil (Peggy) Nogowski of Gwinner, ND. There are also too many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins to mention.
Janice was welcomed into Heaven by her father, mother, a brother, Ralph and her grandparents, Joe and Annie Nogowski; Edward and Viola Ringsaker.
