Jane Haug, 86, passed away on February 27, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family.

Jane Betty Borgeson was born to Elizabeth "Bell" and John "Jack" Borgeson on September 1st, 1939 in Erskine, MN.  She attended school in McIntosh, MN and graduated in 1957. She attended Interstate Business College in Fargo where she met her husband, Robert "Bob." They fell in love and were married on September 2nd, 1960.  Bob & Jane moved to Mahnomen, MN, in 1960 and raised four boys: Mike, Brian, Don, and John.

The family loved camping in the summer and visiting relatives. Jane and Bob were active members of First Lutheran Church throughout their years in Mahnomen. Jane spent time playing bridge with friends, attending her kids' and grandkids' activities, baking and traveling in retirement. Her favorite though, was having all of her family gathered together in one place to share stories, play games, and get updates on everyone's lives.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack & Bell; sister, Ruth Bartz and her husband, Marvin; and nephews, Errol & Larry Bartz.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert; her sons: Michael (Diane), Brian (Randa), Don (April) and John (Jessica); ten grandchildren: Nicholas, Marcus, Alec, Ian, Andrew, Sam, Jenna, Peter, Emily, Anna, and their significant others; and two great-grandchildren, Noa and Jacob.

Jane will be remembered for her kindness and devotion to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at First Lutheran Church (N 1st St) in Mahnomen, MN. The service will begin at 2:00pm with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment is at First Lutheran Cemetery in Mahnomen, with a final gathering of friends and family afterwards.
