Jandy Frederick, age 28, of Rice Lake, MN, died unexpectedly on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Essentia Hospital in Fosston, MN.

Jandy Leigh Frederick the middle child born to James and Michelle (Thompson) Frederick Jr. entered this world on June 3, 1992, in Bemidji, MN.  She was baptized at the St. Philip's Episcopal Church and her childhood years were spent in Rice Lake.  Jandy attended school in Bagley, MN, where she met Craig Larson.  The two would become a couple and spent many years together welcoming five children.  Jandy worked as a Blackjack Dealer at the Shooting Star Casino and also as a CNA.  Above all, she just loved spending time with family and friends.  Jandy was a wonderful gal with a bit of a spit fire attitude often telling it like it was but she also had a big heart and a contagious smile.  She always kept a upbeat attitude with her affection shining through with every I Love You as she was heading out.  Although gone too soon from this life, she will live on in the hearts of so many who knew and loved her.

Jandy is survived by her children: Daleah, Damani, Denali, Daycian and Daisy; the father of her children, Craig Larson of Bagley; her mother, Michelle Frederick of Bagley; her father, James Frederick Jr. of McGregor, MN; grandparents, Calvin (Charlene) Thompson and James Sr. (Karen) Frederick, both of Bagley; sister, Jessica (Dallas Jensen) Frederick of Mahnomen; brother, Tristan Frederick of Rice Lake; two aunts, Jennifer (Joe Uran) Frederick of Mahnomen and Angel Thompson of Naytahwaush; three uncles: Chad Thompson and Jared Thompson both of Rice Lake and Brett Frederick of Mahnomen; special friend, Brent Murray; many great aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.  Jandy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lonnie and Dorothy Stevens; great-grandparents, Les and Veronica Hvezda and Marcy Halvorson; aunts, Tracy Thompson and Carol Wright; great aunt, Gail Stevens; and cousin, Misty Wright.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 1pm at the Rice Lake Community Center with visitation one hour prior.  Burial will be held at the Bagley City Cemetery.

Following all Covid-19 safety protocols, social distancing will be practiced, and all must wear a mask to participate.
