Jaqueline Mae Lampton (Emerson), 77, Lake Park MN, died Friday, Oct 9, 2015 at her home with family. She was born March 19, 1938 to Barton and Agnus (Anderson) Emerson in Fargo, ND. Jackie graduated from Fargo High School in 1956.

May 13, 1957, Jackie was united in marriage to Roland Glen Lampton at Zion Lutheran Church in Twin Valley, MN. Jackie and Roland had their only child, Teresa Lynn Lampton (Perret) in 1958. In 1963, after closing their bakery in Mahnomen they moved to California where Jackie was a homemaker. She went to work as a waitress in 1977, for a year then began working in the office of Roland's company till she retired to spend time with her grandkids. They moved to Lake Park, MN, on Big Cormorant Lake and lived there till her death.
Jackie enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, taking them out to eat, to parks and taking them shopping. She enjoyed reading, embroidery, her dogs, and flower gardens. She surprised her family by making them all cloth mache Santa Clauses which they all enjoy displaying during the holidays. She enjoyed going on scenic drives with Roland, which also included touring on their motorcycle. They took many trips across country to visit family and friends each summer and took a trip to Hawaii one year. Through the years she has stayed closed with her friends and family and always enjoyed spending time with them. She became a great grandma in 2011 and again in 2013. She enjoyed playing with her great grandsons and could make them both laugh easily. Jackie is known for her beautiful smile, sense of humor and her easy laugh. Roland retired in 2006 when Jackie's health had declined to spend more time and care for her, which gave them many years of being together 24/7 which they enjoyed. They were married for 58 years.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Roland, daughter, Teresa (Ed) Perret, Grandson, Edward (Vanessa) Perret, Granddaughter, Jacque (Joel) Morris, Great grandsons, Reeve and Chael Morris, her sister, Colleen (Bill) Leahy and her many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, Eugene, Leo (Butch), Barton and Gary Emerson and her 2 sisters, Helen Stokes and Margie Inkes.

Funeral: 2:00PM Thursday, October 15, 2015, at Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home, Ada, MN.

Visitation: One hour before the funeral at the funeral home.

Burial: Ada Municipal Cemetery, Ada, MN.
