Jack "Jackie" Allen Miller, age 69 of Moorhead, MN, formerly of Mahnomen, MN, died on Friday, April 28, 2023, at his sister's home in Moorhead surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Sanford Fargo Hospice.

Jack Allen Miller was born August 5, 1953, in Ft. Sill, OK, only son of Jacob "Jack" and Mary Ann (Andring) Miller. As a young child, the family moved to Mahnomen where Jackie grew up and made friendships that lasted a lifetime. Over the years, he had many trials and tribulations, but you never heard Jackie complaining. He was always so friendly and loving, a truly beautiful soul. He loved spending time with family, especially the times spent at Kim's on Big Cormorant Lake and more recently at White Earth Lake. Jackie also looked forward to his "Summer Vacation" when he would spend a couple weeks at Cindy's home. He enjoyed the simple things in life like a Hershey bar, a hot cup of coffee and spending time in his favorite comfy pj's. Jackie also liked going to the Red Hen in Moorhead where he could sip a Coca Cola and play some pulltabs! It didn't take material things to keep Jackie happy, he loved dancing, all animals but mostly cats and dogs and just spending time with his family and friends. He lived at home with his mom and dad until their deaths and then he moved to Divine House in Moorhead. Over the past five years at Divine House, Jackie established new friendships and treasured the times there with his special friends, Tonya and Kathleen. He will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love him.

Jackie is survived by his two loving sisters, Cindy (Bob) Majeski of Hastings, MN, and Kim (Butch) Thielen of Moorhead; four nephews: Jacob (Liz) Majeski, John (Julie) Majeski, Joseph (Erica) Majeski and Nicolas (Katie) Thielen; and 10 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Mary Ann.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Anderson Family Funeral Home, Mahnomen, MN, on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 3:00 pm. A Time of Gathering will be held one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Mahnomen, MN.
