Obituary

Indanis Kier, age 37, of Cass Lake, formerly of Mahnomen, MN, died Saturday, August 31, 2013, at her home.

Indanis Lynn Kier, the daughter of Alphonse Houle and Roberta Kier, was born on September 4, 1975, in Hennepin County, MN. She spent her childhood growing up between the Twin Cities and Naytahwaush areas. Later in life she spent time in Audubon and the Twin Cities before settling in Cass Lake, MN. Indanis worked several different jobs, but her most important was being a mother and grandmother to daughters, Esperanza and Jazmine, son Jordan, step-son Dwayne, step-daughter Lakeshia and grandson Moses Gomez.

Indanis was well known for her sense of humor. She enjoyed being a jokester and making people laugh. Her days were often filled with visits with close friends and loving family. Indanis' life was all too short, and she will be greatly missed.

Indanis is survived by her husband Joe Flowers, Cass Lake, daughters; Esperanza "Espy" Kier and Jazmine Flowers, both of Cass Lake, Lakeshia Flowers, of Minneapolis, MN, sons; Jordan Flowers, of Cass Lake, Dwayne Hart, of Walker, MN, one sister, Amanda Houle, of Belcourt, ND, and one grandson Moses Gomez.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, her In-Laws and one sister-in-law.

Funeral Services were held on Friday, September 6th, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., at the Sports Complex in Naytahwaush, MN.

Visitation began on Thursday, September 5th, 2013, at 6pm, and continued until the funeral service.

Inurnment was held at Samuel Memorial Cemetery in Naytahwaush.
