Ilene Carol Allrich, 77, Dilworth, Minnesota, died Thursday, July 3, 2025 at home, surrounded by her family.

Ilene was born July 6, 1947 to Harry and Ella (Rinerson) Broers in Ada, MN.  She was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Twin Valley, MN. She graduated from Twin Valley High School in 1966.

Ilene was a dedicated homemaker while raising her two children. She later worked at Ben Franklin in Crookston, MN for quite a few years, before moving to the Fargo / Moorhead area, where she worked for PepsiCo, Walmart, Menards, Metro Senior Rides and Richards Transportation Services.  She met Harlan Sorlien while driving for Metro Senior rides and were together for 12 years.

Ilene kept busy baking, reading books, coloring and completing puzzles.  She also enjoyed decorating and collecting knickknacks.

Ilene is survived by Harlan of Dilworth, MN, a daughter: Cindi Allrich of Fargo, ND; son: Jason (Whitney) Allrich and two grand-daughters: Clara and Lucy and two grandsons: Jameson and Emerson all from Fertile, MN; two sisters: Harriet Andersen of Twin Valley, MN; Sandra Boman of Twin Valley, MN; one brother: Glen (Linda) Broers of Moorhead, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Ole Gilbertson, sister Joyce Klask, two nieces and 3 nephews.

A funeral service to honor her life will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 3:00pm at the Anderson Family Funeral Home in Twin Valley, MN, with visitation one hour prior. Following the service, Ilene will be laid to rest at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Twin Valley.
