Howard "Buddy" Olson, 86, Kent, WA passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023 at Hospice House in Kent.

Buddy was born in Detroit Lakes, MN on August 16, 1936, to Harold and Johanna (Johnson) Olson. It was the hottest summer on record, so the family had headed to the lake.

He graduated from Ada High School in 1954. He then attended Concordia College, graduating in 1958. Buddy moved to Kent, WA and lived for a while with his aunt and uncle and started working for Boeing as a buyer there for over 30 years, making Kent his home.

Buddy took pride in his yard and enjoyed tending to his many beautiful flowers.

He is survived by his sister, DeLoris "Honey" Olson, Ada, MN; and was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Johanna Olson.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Friday, June 9, 2023 at Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home, Ada, MN.

Visitation: One hour before the memorial service at the funeral home.

Inurnment: Ada Municipal Cemetery, Ada, MN.
