The exciting moments of pregnancy turned to sorrow for Amy Elfering and Michael Litzau, on Friday, July 31, 2020, with the death of their precious baby girl, Heather Grace Litzau.  Weighing 3lb. 8oz, Heather Grace, was born sleeping and cradled in her parent's arms at 1:35pm at St. Mary's Essentia Hospital in Detroit Lakes, MN.

Heather is survived by her mother, Amy Elfering of Twin Valley, MN, and her father, Michael Litzau of Waubun, MN; her siblings, Caleb and Atlanta Voelker of Twin Valley; her grandparents: Donald and Sandy Elfering, Lori (Willie Wallace) Amundson, and Kevin Litzau; her great grandma, Cheryl Kjos; and her aunts and uncles: Julie (Adam) Francis, David (Jenn) Elfering, Robert Parker, and Ashley Williams; as well as several great aunts, great uncles, and many extended family members. She was welcomed into Heaven by her aunt, Heather Litzau; her great grandparents: Donald and Rosella Litzau, Earl Kjos Sr., Esther  and Gilbert Elfering and Lillian and Jerome Franklin; her great uncle, Earl Kjos Jr.; and great great grandparents: Florence and Martin Pederson.

Private Family Services will be held Friday, August 7, 2020 at Lake Grove Lutheran Church, Waubun, MN.  Burial will be held in Lake Grove Cemetery, Waubun.
