Harriet C. Kolnes, Hendrum, MN, born April 22, 1940, passed away in her home under the care of hospice on October 14, 2011. Harriet was born on the family farm by a midwife, the daughter of Clarence and Irene (Lee) Gilbertson. She was raised and schooled in Ada, MN.
Harriet is survived by her husband, Dennis, of Hendrum, one daughter, Lisa (Allan) Shorey, Devils Lake, ND, two grandsons, Troy (Cody) Shorey, of Hendrum, MN, and Mark (Anna) Shorey, Devils Lake, ND, three great grandchildren, two brothers, DuWayne (Cheryl) Gilbertson, Dilworth, MN, Larry (Sandi) Gilbertson, Altas, OK, and one sister, Diane (Oscar) Green, Ulen, MN, and many scattered aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded by her parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
Memorial Service: 2pm Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hendrum, MN.
Visitation: One hour before the service.
