Harold "Cash" Register, age 83, of Twin Valley, MN, died Friday, September 14, 2018 at Essentia Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Harold Wesley Register was born July 4, 1935, in Cottonwood, AL, the son of John and Sabie (Lee) Register.  He grew up and attended school in Alabama.  As a young man, Harold entered the United States Air Force in 1956.  He diligently served until his honorable discharge in 1964.  Harold was united in marriage to Esther Schulz and together they were blessed with three sons: Stanley, James and Ronald.  They made their home in the Fargo, ND, area for many years.  The couple later divorced and Harold remained in Fargo, ND, where he worked as a grounds keeper for the school district.  Harold later married Mary Jo Rick and together they lived in Hawley, MN.  Harold has spent the past few years residing in Twin Valley.

He enjoyed the great outdoors and what if had to offer with fishing and camping.  Harold also enjoyed taking his dog for daily walks.

Harold is survived by two sons, Stanley Register of Missoula, MT, and James Register of Hawley, MN; and two grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Ronald.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Anderson Family Funeral Home in Twin Valley. A time of gathering will take place one hour prior to the memorial service. Inurnment will take place at the Twin Valley Memorial Garden Cemetery, Twin Valley.
