Graveside Services for husband and wife, Harley Adrian Benson (d. February 7, 2024) and Lois Marie Benson (d. November 20, 2008) will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at St. Olaf Cemetery in Faith, MN.

Harley was born on June 11, 1937, to Harry and Dorothy (Broers) Benson of Gary and Lois was born September 19, 1941, to Oliver and Julia (Brenna) Syverson of Twin Valley.  Harley served in the US Army (Co B 76th EBC) during the Korean War.  Harley and Lois Syverson were united in marriage on November 28, 1959.  Shortly after becoming husband and wife, the couple moved to the cities where they worked and raised their family.

Surviving are their daughters, Peggy (Brian) Aho and Pixie Benson; grandchildren: Alicia Voight, Michelle Matheson, Jessica Aho, Jodee Hibbard, Hannah Benson, Janey Mayne, Dane Petersen, and Nels Bostrom; great grandchildren: Alyssa McClaskie, AJ Voight, Taylor Voight, Reese Dick, Kinley Dick, Gwen Dick, Baya Hibbard, Beau Hibbard, Brenna Hibbard and great-great grandchildren, Miles Mielke and Isla Mielke.  Harley is survived by siblings: Bea Laubach of Mahnomen, MN, Darlene Mahlum of Grand Forks, ND, and Wendell Benson of Canyon City, CO and Lois is survived by siblings, Lavonne Babler of Borup, MN, and Bea Sather of Mobridge, SD.

They were preceded in death by their daughter, Pamela Benson.
