Hailey "June" Beckman, age 23, of Moorhead, MN, formerly Mahnomen, MN, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

Hailey Dorthia Bell, affectionately known to many as June was born in Hibbing, MN, on August 15, 2002, the daughter of Richard and Jesse.  She attended Cherry School through the 5th grade when she moved to Mahnomen.  During high school, June entered the workforce and began working at Bruggeman's Supervalu.  Following her high school graduation, she continued working at Bruggeman's and then at the Shooting Star Casino, Mahnomen.  In January of 2022, June was blessed with her son, Winter, who immediately brought joy into her life. Upon moving to Moorhead in February of 2024, she worked at Target.   Building their life together, she enrolled at Josef's School of Hair, Skin and Body in the summer of 2024, receiving her diploma to become a licensed cosmetologist in 2025.  June was currently working at Great Clips in Fargo.

To know June was to love her.  She was whimsical, kept her circle of friends small but she loved them fiercely.  Although stubborn and somewhat set in her ways, June also had an adventurous, spunky side about her.  She often changed up her hairstyle, including the color to radiate a new vibe.  She also enjoyed trying different restaurants, exploring in nature and even taking a solo train ride across the Midwest.  In her spare time, June enjoyed crafting, journaling in her favorite coffee shop, listening to music and cooking/baking.  Some of her favorite recipes were ones that had been shared and passed down to her.  Above all, the most precious thing in her life was spending time with her son, Winter.  Even though the years were short, together they shared countless meaningful times and her love for him was undeniable.  Many hearts are broken with the loss of June, but she will remain and live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know and love her.

Left to mourn her loss is her son, Winter; her parents, Jesse (Joseph) Russell and Richard (Chelsea) Beckman; grandparents, Dick (Sharon) Beckman and grandma, Linda Saunders; four sisters: Carlie (Jonathon) Vanherwynen, Breanna (Wesley) Hallquist, Joey Russell and Honey Russell; two brothers, Marcus Beckman and Richard Beckman; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by grandparents: Renee and Shane Anderson, Dorothy Shambow and Ronald Saunders; and an aunt, Melissa Gettel.
