Gregory "Dike" Rehder, age 70, of Felton, MN, died Monday, July 2, 2018 at Essentia Health Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Gregory was born on May 6, 1948 to Frank and Grace (Chisholm) Rehder in Ada, MN. He was raised in Felton where he attended school and graduated high school with the Class of 1966. Following high school, Greg was employed with Abbott, Arne, Schwindt General Contractors for one year. In 1967, he was drafted into the US Army. He served 18 months in Vietnam before being honorably discharged in 1969. Upon return to Minnesota, Greg returned to work at Abbott, Arne, Schwindt. He was united in marriage to Sharon Gregerson in Ulen in 1971. The couple was blessed with three children, Jeff, Craig, and Brett. Greg retired from Abbott, Arne, Schwindt as a backhoe operator at age 61. He spent much of his free time mowing lawn for the church and most of the neighborhood until his health recently failed him.

A true passion for Greg was old cars. He enjoyed purchasing them and cruising them. He also really enjoyed golfing. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion; as well as a member of the Local 49 Union since 1971. Greg's pride and joy in life was his family that he loved spending time with.

Greg is survived by his wife, Sharon; three sons, Jeff (Bobbi) of Felton, Craig (Brianne Hilde) of Felton, and Brett (Natalie) of Moorhead; four grandchildren: Haley, Tommy, Braxton, and Jett; one sister, Laurie (Rafe) Wright of McKinney, TX; and two brothers, Frank (Annette) Rehder of Elk River, MN and Tim (Diane) Rehder of Felton. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Grace Rehder; and an infant son.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Felton. A time of gathering will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:30 p.m., at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Felton, on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Inurnment will take place at the Felton Cemetery, Felton, with full military rites following the memorial service on Monday.
