Grace S. Bishop, 76, of Ada, MN, passed away at Essentia Health in Ada, on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 10, 2020. Grace was born on March 10, 1944, in Ada, the daughter of George and Hazel (Annenson) Boe. She attended school in Fisher, MN. She later moved to Dilworth-Glyndon, MN.

Grace was the owner of the Golden Ram Bar and Café in Gary, MN. She also managed the Gary Café for many years and worked with her good friend, Bea Werpy. Grace worked hard all her life to support her two children, James and Heather. She spent a couple of years working at the Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen, and in 1995 Grace and her family moved to Texas, taking care of her mother. After Hazel passed away, the family moved to Ada.

Grace was an excellent cook and a very good baker. She loved making Christmas cookies and big Thanksgiving dinners. Grace loved spending time with her sister, Pat, and her grandchildren, Tasha, Sheyanne, Sean, J.D., and Brody. She also had three great-grandchildren, Tim (4), Jaxon (4), and Jeager (7 months) who she loved to spoil with candy and cookies.

Grace is survived by her sister Pat; daughter, Heather Gilbert; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Due to public health concerns with the coronavirus called COVID-19,
a private family funeral will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 22, 2020, at Gary Lutheran Church, Gary, MN.

Visitation: One hour before the funeral on Friday, May 22, 2020, at Gary Lutheran Church, Gary, MN.
