Gilbert "Bucky" Iceman, 34, Mahnomen, Minnesota died Saturday September 12, 2009 in the Merit Care Hospital, Fargo, North Dakota.

Gilbert Iceman was born January 25, 1975 at Red Lake, Minnesota. He grew up in the Red Lake community where he was raised by this grandmother, Dorothy Iceman. Gilbert known as "Bucky" attended school at both Northome and Bemidji, Minnesota. After his Grandmothers death he became a resident at the Mahnomen Health Center Nursing Home in Mahnomen Minnesota.


Bucky enjoyed watching TV and movies and loved music. Some of his greatest joys came from having his nephews and cousins spend time with him.


He is survived by his parents, William and Charlene (Iceman) Heisler, Ogema, two sisters, Willy Ann (Jessie) Hoban, Alliance, Nebraska and Heather Heisler and her friend Monte Farley, Ogema, MN, his grandparents John and Martha Heisler, Ogema, MN.

Memorial services were held Thursday at 10:00am in the St. Benedict's Catholic Church, White Earth, Minnesota. A time of remembrance was held Wednesday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with a prayer service held at 6:30pm in the Anderson-Mattson Funeral Home, Mahnomen. Burial took place in the Calvary Cemetery, White Earth, Minnesota
