Gerry Haug of Hawley, MN formerly of Ulen, MN peacefully went to see our Lord and Savior on Friday Oct 8, 2021.  He was surrounded by all his caregivers.

Gerry was born May 1, 1951, to Gilbert & Marie (Matysek) Haug. He grew up in Ulen, MN and graduated High School there.  Gerry always talked about his family and living in the Ulen/Hitterdal area.  He cherished those times. Gerry had several jobs in his lifetime.  He fondly talked about working in Moorhead at Silver Line Boat and his love of trucking.  He was always willing to tell a story of his times working in farm fields and hauling gravel.  He was proud of the jobs he had. Gerry enjoyed doing many different things.  He really enjoyed sitting outside chatting, having his daily snus and going for van rides.  You could always get a great laugh out of him with a good joke.

We will celebrate the life of Gerry at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ulen, MN on Oct 19, 2021, at 2 pm.  A time of gathering will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. He will be laid to rest in Keene Cemetery following the service.

Following all Covid-19 safety protocols, social distancing will be practiced, and all are encouraged to wear a mask to keep our families safe.
