Obituary

Geraldine (Geri) Patricia Kesselberg passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at the age of 70. Geri was born on December 20, 1955, to Paul and Patricia Rust in Alaska.

Geri met Kenneth Kesselberg in 1980 and joined together their families, raising two sons. Geri leaves behind her husband, Kenny; her fur companion, Ziggy; sons, Michael Padilla, and Aaron (Barbara) Kesselberg; grandchildren, Ellyana Padialla, Kaytlynn (Shawn) Peterson, and Kalvin (Hailea), Ashton, and Chantel Kesselberg; great-grandchildren, Elias, Aubree, and Liam; her dear brother, Paul (Connie) Rust, Jr., and their children, Rachel Cohen, Jennifer (Mat) Brooks, Paul (Dany) Rust III, and Isaac (Lucy) Padilla, their grandchildren, Kyle, Jaden, Anistacia, Valentina, Isabella, Maria, Mathew, Travis James, Devon, and Evie, and their great-grandson, Greyston. Geri also leaves behind her brother-in-law, Kevin (Becky) Kesselberg and their children, Kylee (Ben) Scheibeler, and Kevin Kesselberg, Jr.; and uncle, Harold, and aunt, Linda Reese.

Geri was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Patricia; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Geri's legacy lives on through her immediate and extended family, who will remember her warmth, strength, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She was a tax preparer, Ada EMT, but most of all a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and best friend!!!

A celebration to honor Geri's life will be held at a later date.

The family wishes for memorials to be made in the form of donations to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Geri's name.
