Gerald L. Auginaush, age 55, of White Earth, MN, died Monday, August 9, 2010 at CentraCare Hospital, St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Gerald Lee Auginaush, the son of Norman and Ruth (Murray) Auginaush, was born March 3, 1955, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He spent the majority of his childhood in the Minneapolis area and attended school there. When Gerald was teenager, he moved to White Earth. For many years, he has done seasonal work throughout the area. Gerald was a talented artist and could be found making many different things. He particularly enjoyed creating artwork out of wood, especially beautiful lamps that he shared with others.
Although he had suffered from various ailments over the years, Gerald died suddenly, but peacefully, on Monday, August 9, 2010.
Gerald is survived by two brothers, Norman Auginaush of Mahnomen, Minnesota, and Michael Auginaush of Waubun, Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Janelle.
Funeral Services were held at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 13, 2010 at St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Rice Lake, Minnesota. Father George Ross was the officiant. Pallbearers were John Gagnon, Jeremy Neeland, Jerry Hvezda, Jacob Dakota, Donald Auginaush and Charlie Hvezda, Honorary pallbearers were Janelle Auginaush, Mike Honeyford, Althea Hvezda and Missy Hvezda.
Visitation was held beginning at 5:00 pm on Thursday, August 12th, with a prayer service at 7:00 pm, and continued until the funeral service on Friday, all at St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Rice Lake.
Burial was at Samuel Memorial Episcopal Cemetery in Naytahwaush, Minnesota.
