Geneva Conner, 55, Halstad, MN, died Sunday, December 26, 2010, at a friend's home near Ulen, MN.

Geneva was born February 3, 1955, at Miami, FL, the daughter of Clifford Conner and Shirley Parker. She moved to Minnesota and attended college at Moorhead State University, studying Social Work. Geneva was instrumental in establishing the MinnKota Health Project in Moorhead. She was active in public speaking in Northwestern Minnesota high schools, middle schools, and also at MSUM, NDSU, and UND.

Geneva met Todd Ance (AKA - T.)in 1999, and moved to Halstad in 2000. She will be remembered as an outgoing person who was charitable and kind to others. She enjoyed fishing and animals.

Geneva is survived by her fiancé, Todd Ance, Halstad, a daughter, Trelena Allen, Roseville, CA, stepchildren, Deanna Ance, Orlando, FL, Kari Ance, Orlando, FL, Jarrod Walker, Arcadia, FL, nine grandchildren, her mother, Shirley Caudle, Elkin, NC, brothers, Gary (Susan) Conner, Indianapolis, IN, Wayne (Loretta) Fletcher, Elkin, NC, Ron (Charlene) Fletcher, Elkin, NC, sisters, Joyce Conner, Dayton, OH, and Tayna of Missouri. She was preceded by her father, Clifford Conner, a brother Bubba Conner and a son, Johnny Elk in 2005.

Memorial Service: 1PM Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at Moorhead Baptist Church, 502 H-Way 75 N. Moorhead, MN.

Visitation: One hour before the service at the church.
