Gelaine Lorraine Gredvig, 92, was called to heaven on Good Friday, March 30, 2018, at Fair Meadow Nursing Home, Fertile, MN.

Gelaine was born on April 25, 1925 to Carl and Regina (Korsgaden) Jensen. She was baptized and confirmed at Wild Rice Lutheran Church, Twin Valley, MN. She attended Marsh Creek Rural School and graduated from Twin Valley high school in 1943. She earned an Elementary Education degree from Moorhead State and taught in Hitterdal and Fertile schools.

On June 10, 1950 Gelaine married Arthur Gredvig in Fertile, MN. They lived and farmed on the family farm. They had four children.

Gelaine enjoyed sewing, making quilts, and baking caramel rolls for the grandkids.

Gelaine will be deeply missed by her husband of 67 years, Arthur. Daughters, Mary (Craig) Moe, International Falls, MN; Randi (Jim) Delaney, Pipestone, MN; one son, Daniel (Diane) Gredvig, Houston, TX. Six grandchildren: Kelly, Kyle, Jimmy, David, Derek, Erik, ten great-grandchildren and a brother, Lyle Jensen, CA; many nieces and nephews.

Gelaine was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Helen Eid, brothers, Kenneth, Sanford, Arnold, Howard, Orris, and infant son, John Arthur.

Funeral: 11:00am , Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Concordia Lutheran Church, Fertile, MN.

Visitation: One hour before the service.

Burial: Concordia Lutheran Cemetery, Fertile, MN.
