Gail M. Magnuson, 82, Ada, Minnesota, died Saturday, April 9, 2016, at her home with her family by her side.

Gail Mary Moshier was born December 22, 1933, at Sisseton, SD, the daughter of Lawrence and Anna (Sutton) Moshier. She was baptized and confirmed in the Church of St. Peter, in Sisseton. She graduated from Sisseton High School in May of 1952, and was united in marriage to Kenneth Olson on July 13, 1952, in Anchorage, AK. They returned to live in the Aberdeen, SD, area for a few years before moving to Ada and calling Ada her home thereafter. Gail and Kenneth lived on a farm South West of Ada where they raised their family and cared for an assortment of farm animals. Kenneth died suddenly in 1974.

Gail operated Gail's Lunch and Grocery in Ada for a number of years and also worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Ada Hospital. She also worked as a home health aide before she retired. Gail was united in marriage to Arnold Magnuson in July of 1978. He died in 1980. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the Ada VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed Country & Western music, sewing, reading, cross stitching, making quilts, and more than anything else, spending time with her grandchildren.

Gail is survived by her children, Gayln (fiancé- Jeannie Madsen) Olson, Ada, MN, Terry (Cheryl Palm) Olson, Thief River Falls, MN, Ann (Michael) Hanson, Fertile, MN, Stanley (Alanna) Olson, Thief River Falls, MN, Joey (Melissa) Olson, Ada, MN, 15 grandchildren, Amy, Rose, Kyle, Abigail, Kayen, Corey, Leann, Melissa, Meranda, Marie, Justin, Brianna, Jeanne, Amber, and Dustin; 19 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Gwen Schenecker, of Florida, Lois (Lonis) Wendt, Vivian, SD, and several nieces, nephew, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and sisters, Darleen and Shirley.

Funeral: 11:00AM, Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Grace Lutheran Church, Ada, MN.

Visitation: Wednesday from 5-7PM with a 7PM prayer service at Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home, Ada, MN.

Burial: Ada Municipal Cemetery, Ada, MN
