Frank Skauge, age 64, died on Monday, January 21, 2008 at his home in Twin Valley, MN.

Frank Dean was born in Twin Valley on August 29, 1943 to Bertha (Oftedahl) and Fredrick Skauge. Growing up in the Twin Valley area, Frank was baptized and confirmed at St. Olaf Lutheran Church near Faith, MN, where he was a lifelong member.

As a construction worker, Frank traveled throughout the United States working in Alaska, Illinois, Colorado and Arkansas. In the early 1990's, he made his way back to Twin Valley to make his home.

An avid outdoorsman, Frank enjoyed hunting and fishing and took pride in even the smallest of fish he caught. He also loved to have fun and joke around with friends and family. The highlight of his life were his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. His strong will and sense of humor will be greatly missed by those who love him.

Frank is survived by two sons, Travis (Kimberly) Underdahl of Moorhead, MN and Shane (Sarah) Underdahl of West Fargo, ND; two granddaughters, Cheyanne and Faith Underdahl; one grandson, Brodie Underdahl; one brother, Harold (JoAnn) Skauge; and two sisters, Lorraine (David) Tastad and Fran (Dennis) Bueng, all of Twin Valley;.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Terrance.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Faith, MN. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home in Twin Valley. Interment will take place at St. Olaf Lutheran Cemetery.
