Obituary

Eunice Marlene Henderson, 56, of Fosston, MN, formerly Fargo, ND, died on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at First Care Nursing Home in Fosston.

Eunice was born on May 20, 1951 in Mahnomen, MN to Julius and Gertude (Folstrom) Omang. She grew up in the Bear Park and Winger, MN area and graduated from McIntosh-Winger High School.

Following graduation, Eunice moved to Crookston where she worked in sheltered workshops. On June 29, 1974, she was united in marriage to Robert Henderson at Dovre Lutheran Church in Winger. After living in Crookston for a short time, the couple moved to Fargo where they made their home.

Eunice loved children and enjoyed doing daycare in her home for several years. In her spare time, Eunice enjoyed playing cards and visiting with her friends over a cup of coffee. Eunice was a collector of figurines and was known for her impeccable taste and gift giving. She had an amazing memory and loved reminiscing about the past. Eunice loved baking and will be remembered for her amazing chocolate chip and overnight cookies.

Due to increasing health problems, she moved from her Fargo home to First Care Nursing Home in Fosston this fall.

Eunice is survived by her husband, Robert, of Fargo; two sisters: Gloria (LeRoy) Steinbrenner, Luann Dufault and her special friend, David Arneberg, all of Fosston; one brother Dennis (Kathy) of Winger and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald; and one sister, Lynda.
