Elena Marie Renee Swenson, beloved daughter of Danielle and James Swenson, was born sleeping at Fairview - University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN, on Saturday, November 16, 2024. Though her time on Earth was brief, her presence left a lasting mark on all who love her. From the moment she was known, Elena was cradled in pure love and surrounded by warmth and care.

Elena lives on in the hearts of her parents, James and Danielle Swenson; siblings: Dakota, Aiyana, John, Michaela, Chyanne, Jace, Landyn, and Jasper; nieces and nephews: Lilly, Everleigh, Paisley, Claire, Skylar, and Avery; maternal grandparents, Kathy and Kenneth Sullivan; paternal grandparents, Joe and Patty Swenson; great-grandmothers, Joyce Korte, Alice Lewis, and Maricanna Sullivan; uncles, Eric Korte, Patrick Blue, Phillip Blue, and Cubby Korte; and many cousins and extended family.

Elena was welcomed into heaven by her sister, Angel; uncle, Michael Swenson; and grandparents, John Swenson, Evelyn Swenson, and Chester Lewis.

"Some only dream of angels, but we held one in our arms."

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Mahnomen, MN.
