Dusty DuChene, age 19, of Borup, MN, died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 4, 2020 as a result of an automobile accident.

Dusty Daniel DuChene, "DDD" was welcomed into this world on September 2, 2000, to his parents, Amanda Keuhn and Daniel DuChene. He spent his early years in Ada, MN, before moving to Park Rapids, MN. When Dusty was in the 2 nd grade, they returned to Ada where he enrolled in school. Before beginning Jr high school, Dusty moved in with his aunt and uncle, Nikki and Carl Swenson, who welcomed him into their home and their hearts. With several caring adults in his life, Dusty always had a large circle of love surrounding him. He was active in many school events but was most enthusiastic about football, track and FCCLA. Dusty's life dream was to serve as Special Operations in the United States Military. He pursued this passion by enlisting in the Minnesota Army National Guard RSV program, on August 14, 2018. After graduating from Ada-Borup High School with the class of 2019, Dusty honorably served as a member of the B Company, 2-136 "Barbarians" Infantry Regiment. He completed basic training at Fort Benning, GA, then joined his Company in Crookston, MN. He was currently training for deployment to Kuwait later this year. Over the years, Dusty also worked for the Felton Country Store, commercial fishing in Alaska, mowing for Brian and Julie Borge, and most currently working at Wysan Precast. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He was always ready for an adventure and was full of surprises. Dusty was a member of Jevnaker Lutheran Church where he confirmed his faith in 2015. He devotedly attended services on Sunday and made wonderful memories fishing in Alaska with Clayton Robison, Pastor at Jevnaker church. Dusty truly enjoyed helping people and cherished time spent with his friends and family. He had a contagious smile and gave the best bear hugs. The many dreams he had and the lives he touched will never be forgotten.

Dusty is survived by his parents: Amanda (Sonny Syverson) Kuehn of Ulen, MN and Daniel DuChene of Ada; his aunt and uncle: Nikki and Carl Swenson of Borup, MN; his half-sister, Angel Troy, of Bemidji, MN; step-brother, Travis Syverson of Ulen; his bonus siblings, Molly and Bryce Swenson; his grandparents: Carol Kuehn of Ada, John and Laura DuChene of Ada, Wayne and Cheryl Roquet of Ada, and Carl Swenson Sr. of Palm Bay, FL; his aunts and uncles: Jennifer (Kevin) Baxter, Chad Kuehn, Ashley Kuehn, Cody Kuehn, and NataLee (Chris Wichman) DuChene; and many cousins; as well as many close friends.
